Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or seniors in a residential setting - Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately - Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary - Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings - Promote independence and encourage the development of life skills - Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times - Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided Skills: - Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or seniors preferred - Knowledge of direct support techniques and person-centered care approaches - Ability to drive and transport individuals to appointments or activities - Familiarity with dementia care principles is a plus - Strong caregiving skills, including empathy, patience, and compassion - First aid and CPR certification is desirable - Proficient in meal preparation and following dietary restrictions - Understanding of medication administration procedures - Knowledge of resident rights and advocacy We offer competitive pay rates, flexible scheduling options, and opportunities for career advancement.
