    IT Business Analyst Principal - Supply Chain & Finance

    Description

    We are looking for a talented IT Business Analyst Principal - Supply Chain & Finance to join our team for our Accelera Business Unit in Columbus, IN. This will be a hybrid role with the expectation to be onsite 60% of the time.

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    Partners with business functions to define, determine, analyze, document and communicate the objectives, business requirements and priorities for information systems and solutions; works with application and technical experts on the solution design, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the information systems.

    Leads a group of analysts to elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements across the five aspects (process, information, event, socio-political, and location), as appropriate for the complex initiative.

    Leads and conducts requirements management activities, as necessary. Seeks out and analyzes information regarding the impact of changes within an organization or between organizations, ensuring that the effects of changes are well understood and approved by all of the appropriate stakeholders.

    Leads and conducts solution assessment and validation to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs within the organization or across organizations.

    Reviews test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks and participates in testing the solution to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements within the organization or across organizations.

    Conducts complex problem analysis and resolution as needed. Acts as a point of escalation for complex, non-routine problems.

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    Solution Functional Fit Analysis - Composes and decomposes a system into its component parts using procedures, tools and work aides for the purpose of studying how well the component parts were designed, purchased and configured to interact holistically to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

    Problem Solving - Solves problems using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry standard methodologies to create problem traceability and protect the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.

    Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

    Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

    Education, Licenses, Certifications

    • College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.

    • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

    Experience

    • IT Professional with 5 relevant experience with solution design & implementation in areas of Supply Chain & Finance

    • Excellent understanding of end-to-end business process in Supply Chain, manufacturing & finance areas.

    • Good understanding and experience with typical supply chain applications such as ERP/MES/PLM.

    • Must have Oracle ERP (EBS/Fusion Cloud) knowledge. Oracle certifications would be an added advantage.

    • Good written & oral communication, people & leadership skills with an ability to work with both end users and senior leaders.

    • Ability to take initiative & work independently and good problem-solving skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for providing effective solutions & support Accelera supply chain & finance applications (e.g. ERP, MES, Quality, WMS etc.) across both direct and indirect operations.

    • Leads business discussions with functional leaders or process owners & translates business need into documented functional requirements.

    • Leads solution design discussions to identify & recommends solution options to meet business requirements/objectives while adhering to necessary Information Security, Controls, and Compliance requirements.

    • Translate requirements into functional specification for technical & development teams

    • Owns & maintains the Accelera Supply Chain/Operations specific software Topology, Architecture & configuration documentation (eg: BR100, FSDs.

    • Contributes to establish and execute Acceleras Supply Chain & Finance IT Strategy & Roadmap

    • Provides guidance to production support teams on short term solution fixes for production issues on need basis.

    • Leads effective coordination, Planning, Reporting, Compliance, Information Security, IT Communications to Acceleras SC IT / OPS projects & stakeholders.

    • Manage and coach IT BAs and support analysts.

    • Maintains relationships with key stakeholders across various business & IT teams as well as IT vendors.

    Typical Day to Day Work Content Breakdown

    • 60% - Business Analysis work to deliver IT solutions - Gather, Define & Document - Requirements/solution options/testing etc.(Projects/Enhancements/Break-Fixes)

    • 20% - IT Support / User Training / Documentation

    • 10% - Stakeholder, Task Management & coordination for execution (Business, Internal IT/global teams/IT vendors)

    • 10% - Supporting other IT processes (Management Reporting/Planning/Strategy)

    Compensation

    Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidates qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
