TOTAL REWARDS SUPERVISOR
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Reporting to the SVP, Governance Total Rewards Consultant, the Total Rewards Supervisor will support the incentive program payout calculations and utilize those calculations to provide reporting and analytics to assist in the assessment of the variable pay structures within City National Bank ("CNB"). The Supervisor will ensure compensation programs, policies, initiatives and solutions reflect and are executed with good governance and sound risk management practices.The Supervisor will support the centralization efforts of Sales and Service incentive design, governance, administration, and assessment across CNB.
Human Resources Division

What you will do
- Manages the calculations of variable compensation programs and ensures timely and accurate payments.
- Provides reporting and analytics to support incentive compensation program assessments and redesign projects.
- Provides support for all compensation and benefits testing and examinations executed by internal and external auditors including Regulatory agencies.
- Supports the development of materials, reports, and presentation to support Board and Senior Management in their oversight of the compensation and benefits practices.
- Supports the administration of the Compensation Risk and Performance Adjustment Policy and update all related policies, procedures, standards, frameworks, and processes on a scheduled timeline through the year, or as necessary.
- Centralized management of the end-to-end processes involved in variable compensation.
- Coordinate periodic vendor risk management activities in support of Compensation Plans.
- Provides support to the reporting of the Executive Deferred Compensation Plan.
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years compensation experience in the design and implementation of compensation programs in a financial services environment, ideally providing support to executives and corporate boards.
- Proficient with HR systems and MS Office Excel including knowledge of pivot tables, formulas and functions required.
Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills including interpersonal, presentation, facilitation and written.
- Strong project management skills.
- Advanced level HRS skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
- Certified Compensation Profession ("CCP") designation preferred.
- Good understanding of legal and regulatory requirements
Compensation
Starting base salary: $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
