Top Training Executive leads the development and implementation of all aspects of an organization's training programs, policies, and objectives to develop and maintain an effective workforce. Collaborates with functional management teams to assess training and development needs as well as to gauge the effectiveness of established programs. Being a Top Training Executive develops a strategic plan to implement an efficient and responsive training services team and relevant programs. Reviews new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs. Additionally, Top Training Executive oversees relationship with vendors to ensure outside training programs are effective and provide a good return on investment. We are a gymnastics training facility specializing in recreational and competitive gymnastics looking to add reliable, responsible members to our team! Experience is helpful but NOT required, as we will train you on all skills and aspects necessary to coach. Gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, diving, dance, and parkour experience are all welcome to apply. We want to fill part-time hours, but this position could turn into full-time for the right candidate.
Types of classes you may be suited for:
-Parent & Me classes (10 months-4 years)
-Preschool classes (3.5 years-5 years)
-Beginner, intermediate, and advanced gymnastics (6 years-18 years)
-Cheer and tumbling clinics
-Competitive gymnastics
Classes are typically between 6-12 students and are either 50, 60, or 90 minutes long. All coaches begin by coaching beginner & preschool level, and the right candidates can continue on-the-job training for upper-level classes.
Core job duties:
-Coach basic gymnastics skills to students ages 10 months- 18 years
- Build skill, strength, coordination, and awareness through games, curriculum focuses, and challenges.
-Follow rotation schedules & pre-written class curriculum
-Connect with students and parents while taking into account developmental stages (such as physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communicative)
-Observing energy and engagement levels in classes and making adjustments based on class needs
-Collaborate and Co-lead with other coaches
-Participate in ongoing group and individual training
Job Requirements:
- A background check is required
-Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
-Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
-Coach 3-4 classes/ shift, 3-6 days/ week
-Afternoon availability as 90% of our classes are in the evening after kids are out of school
-Must be at least 18 years of age
