Directs the analysis and review of investment options and sets investment policy and guidelines for the purchase and sale of securities. Being a Top Trust Executive ensures applicable tax reporting and returns are properly prepared and are in compliance with all regulations. May also provide guidance on legal matters to preserve and protect the organization and trusts. Additionally, Top Trust Executive requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Trust Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.     As a Trust Officer I of CNTF you will:

    • Provide trust and estate services, including estates, personal trusts, and guardianships, to the Greater Sarasota and Florida West Gulf Coast communities. 
    • Review wills and trust agreements in setting up accounts to determine fiduciary responsibility.
    • Work diligently to earn the trust of our clients by nurturing and maintaining client relationships, along with obtaining new business opportunities.
    • Be part of a team and utilize resources available from trusted partners.
    • Assume responsibility for the administration and discharge of the bank’s legal/fiduciary responsibility for all assigned trust and estate accounts.
    • Completes analysis of requirements of assigned accounts.
    • Coordinates with Wealth Advisors to monitor the cash and investments of each account with consideration for the objectives of the account, the needs of the beneficiaries and cash requirements for taxes and distributions.
    • Abide by current laws and adhere to internal controls in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness.

    What does our ideal candidate look like?

    • Able to provide trust and estate services, including estates, personal trusts, and guardianships, to the Greater Sarasota and Florida West Gulf Coast communities.
    • Able to work with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys and other interested parties to articulate the company’s role.
    • Have a thorough knowledge of investment and trust related products and services.
    • Capable of achieving established goals of CNTF’s annual operation plan.
    • A bachelor’s degree in related field.  
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience relating to financial and estate planning.

    Compensation – $77,000 - $100,000

    The actual salary offered within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, and performance expectations.
