As aQuality Administrator,you will perform chemical and physical tests on existing products and raw materials at our Grand Haven, MI site. In addition, you will aid Technicians by gathering product data and standards, tacking and communicating customer pre-ship approvals, update product lot statuses and filing and organizing product Folders, and retain panels. Key Responsibilities:
*Manage lab materials and investigate for product quality problems, resolve root cause, assemble, and analyze data and implement corrective action to reduce or eliminate cause.
*Test and examine samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications.
*Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations at work to provide a safe working environment on and off site to minimize all liabilities.
*Ensure that any problems or unusual observations regarding coatings or testing equipment are reported to Supervisor.
Qualifications:
*High School diploma/Equivalent with 1 year of industrial laboratory experience or have academic training in science and mathematics.
*EHS training requirements - emergency response, hazardous waste, fire safety, industrial ergonomics, PPE, walking and working surfaces while being able to lift up to 50 pounds.
*Work 1st shift hours (7:00am - 4:30pm) with occasional overtime.
