    Description

    We are seeking a Director of Total Rewards to join our HR team to lead the design, implementation, and management of our Compensation, Executive Compensation and Benefits programs. We are looking for someone who possesses knowledge and experience in various aspects of total rewards, including benefits, payroll, executive compensation, compensation, equity, recognition, and wellness programs.     Responsibilities:


    Compensation

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy that supports the company’s objectives and promotes employee engagement.
    • Lead the design and execution of competitive compensation structures, including base pay, bonuses, and incentives, to attract and retain top talent.
    • Develop and manage the company’s executive compensation philosophy, policies, and programs to support our strategic goals and drive performance (includes base, short-term and long-term incentives, equity awards, and perquisites)
    • Analyze compensation data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
    • Prepare recommendations for merit increases and bonus distributions.

    Benefits

    • Oversee the design and administration of employee benefit programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other perks.
    • Analyze the cost-effectiveness of benefit plans and make recommendations for enhancements.
    • Ensure compliance with local and national benefits regulations.

    Total Rewards Communication:

    • Develop and execute communication strategies and training to educate employees about our total rewards programs.
    • Socialize enterprise benefits activities in partnership with the COE team. 
    • Partner with HR leadership in shaping benefits strategies and facilitating enterprise feedback from lines of business and HR partner, understanding, and costing and employee impacts regarding benefits changes.
    • Provide guidance and support to HR and management in addressing employee inquiries and concerns related to compensation and benefits.

    Performance Management:

    • Collaborate with HR in integrating compensation and benefits with performance management processes.
    • Assist in setting performance targets and aligning them with rewards.

    Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Collect, analyze, and maintain compensation and benefits data.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to track and report on key total rewards metrics.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

    Compliance:

    • Ensure that all compensation and benefits practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Stay current with industry trends and legislative changes, adjusting programs as necessary.

    Organizational Relationship:

    This position reports to the Executive Vice President – Chief Human Resources Officer.


    Requirements

    Requirements and Education and Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CCP, CBP) is a plus.

    Skills:

    • 10 years’ experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards management. 
    • 3 years in a leadership role
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with HRIS and data analysis tools.
    • Strong understanding of compensation principles, including salary structures, pay equity, and incentive programs
    • Experience advising HRBPs and leadership on HR policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and market trends.
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively.

    Abilities:

    • Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans
    • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
    • Ability to work within a team environment.
