Barrett Petfood Innovations is a family owned and operated premium pet food manufacturer. We are currently looking to hire a Quality Assurance Administrator to assist our current QA team in day-to-day tasks. This role is responsible for ensuring all production QA documents are up to date, tracking logs are maintained, and ensuring all products manufactured are meeting customer specifications and are documented. Someone who is devoted, has attention to detail, and works well in a team atmosphere is desired.
Job Duties:
Analyze customers production runs and compare to customers specifications and GA’s. Communicating corrective actions with customers on results
Test raw materials, in process materials, and finished products for in-process or finished product requirements, or other tests as required in a timely manner
Review and approve manufacturing records, and investigation of any process deviations that have occurred
Order supplies needed for Toxin Testing for all of our incoming plant based materials
Create and send off COA’s for customers that request them on their finished products
Send out samples that reflect our lab submittal book to external labs
Create department forms and documents such as new customer specifications
Monitor the completion of paperwork by other departments, emphasizing optimum record-keeping withing all plant areas
Assist in the resolution of customer complaints and requests
Back up QA Techs as needed
Finalize receipts
Job Requirements:
