Total Quality Administrator jobs in Schenectady, NY

As a member of Total Events' Driver & Event team, you will be responsible for driving company trucks and loading and unloading of trucks. This is a very physical position that requires some early morning, late night, and weekend shifts. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for their work, are self motivated and a team player. Team members will be doing events throughout the Capital Region. We service a large variety of events from convention services to weddings, tent rentals, government functions, galas and more throughout the area.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver event equipment to a variety of locations in the Capital Region
• Complete the setup and/or breakdown of tents, tables/chairs, conventions, decor, lighting and more.
• Follow and execute a specific event layout within a strict timeline as determined by the Production Manager
• Maintain and inventory all event, production, tools, hardware, and storage equipment
• Adhere to safety procedures, removing any obstacles and potential dangers from the event space
• Uphold Total Events standards at all times and follow all implemented policies and procedures
• Operate vehicles including, but not limited to, box trucks, forklifts, and delivery vans

Requirements:

• Commercial truck driving experience
• Safe Driving record
• Strong sense of urgency and work ethic
• Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
• Self-starter and multi-tasker who can manage simultaneous projects
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to take initiative and contribute ideas and solutions
• Focused and organized, with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Forklift certified, preferred
• Able to lift 50lbs or more
• Reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications
