Experience:
Applicants with Behavioral experience or individuals studying social work/psychology/behavioral health are preferred.

Available Hours:

• Work 7-3 pm several days a week and every other weekend working one to one for independent female service recipient
• Work evenings and every other weekend (AM or PM) with independent male service recipients

• Utilize positive support approaches to redirect behaviors

• Assist in consistently running individual program plan of persons served.
• Document daily on persons served progress

• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to appropriate persons/agency as required.

Other Job Duties:

Community integration, care of clothing/belongings, service recipient rights, Shopping, Socialization, Meal Planning/Preparation, Personal Care, Money Management, Housekeeping, Health Care, Assisting with setting up medications.

• Attend monthly staff meetings and trainings.
• Report and document all accidents, incidents and vulnerable adult concerns.
• Communicate responsibly with co-workers, case managers, guardians, and others involved in the lives of the people QCS serves in order to provide the highest quality of care.

Character

Employee will uphold and support the philosophy, the code of ethics and the policies and procedures of Quality Care Services. The assistant will be responsible for following the Rules and Statues of the Minnesota Department of Human Services that govern these services.

Working Conditions

Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are required. Transporting individuals to and from activities is necessary. The individual working in the position is required to perform job duties that will put them at risk of exposure to communicable diseases including blood-borne pathogens.'
