  • New York, NY FULL_TIME
  • Founded by the pioneers of real-time bidding (RTB), The Trade Desk has become the fastest growing demand-side platform (DSP) in the industry, allowing advertisers to reach their audiences - wherever they are on the open internet – in meaningful and relevant ways.

Our platform handles tens of million queries per second (and growing!) from all over the world – that's more page views and queries than Facebook, Google Search, and Google's entire network of websites combined – all serviced in single-digit-ms response times.

Some questions for you:  Are you interested in driving a culture of data-driven decision making at the leading advertiser-focused company supporting the open internet? Are you up for applying your strong quantitative analysis and predictive analytics skills to tackle complex and impactful problems?

If this sounds of interest to you, and you’re talented, driven, creative, and hungry to bring something entirely new and wildly ambitious into the world (and have some fun doing it), then we want to talk.

The Staff Business Intelligence Analyst is a primary contributor and leading subject matter expert on the Business Intelligence team, driving a culture of data-driven decision making at The Trade Desk for teams as widely varying as Client Services, Finance, Product, Technology, Marketing, People, Legal, and Sales.

    • Provide analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics across various business areas and develop actionable insights for leadership.
    • Influence The Trade Desk leadership by proactively seeking and framing opportunities and identifying business risks.
    • Develop solutions that deliver critical data-driven insights and decision metrics proactively and at scale.
    • Participate in and lead cross-functional teams whose members include Marketing, Sales, Operations, Product, Technology, People Analytics, and Finance
    • Develop strong, professional, and collaborative working relationships among BI team leadership and with key stakeholders
    • Provide transformational thought leadership for analytics including advanced data modeling, predictive modeling, and analytical techniques.
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Who you are:

    • Master’s degree in a quantitative or scientific field (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, etc.) or equivalent experience
    • 12-15 years of analytical experience in advanced analysis and predictive analytics; demonstrated proficiency in applying this experience to address business problems and to aid decision making
