- This position requires possession of special technical expertise in the field of validation in order to execute all functions on complex validation project(s). • Supervise protocol preparation and field execution • Review and approve protocols and reports prepared by others • Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines • Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines • Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards • Other duties as assigned• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner• Accredited degree or global equivalent in engineering, science, or equivalent directly related work experience required • Typically has ten (10) years of validation or Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)or global equivalent related work experience• U.S. Citizenship required • Review engineering and operating documents for manufacturing and utility systems • Prepare and execute inspection and test procedures (protocols), and prepare final reports as required by Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) • Access departmental data files and procedures in order to facilitate job assignments, and may contribute specialized and/or technical information to Fluor Knowledge Communities • Maintain data records and other documentation in compliance with applicable Fluor, client, and industry regulatory standards • Comment as to validation and cGMP compliance issues, and provide technically feasible, and cost-and time-effective solutions to cGMP design and operating issues • Frequently travel to and/or is assigned to client and/or construction sites to assure successful execution of project and/or department goals • Communicate relevant information with vendors, clients, and other project personnel • Maintain expertise with regard to current regulations and practices, and leading-edge technology, and provide solutions based upon knowledge and experience • May train other Fluor Corporation personnel in respective area(s) of technical or specialized knowledge • Prepare estimates and schedules for commissioning and validation based upon engineering documents • Report on project progress and status, and current/future labor requirements • Develop new approaches to work processes and project execution
