Additionally, Trade Relations Manager requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Trade Relations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Position Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, communications, PR, public affairs, Polisci, marketing, creative writing or related. Three years of related work experience. Demonstrated experience in planning, writing and editing compelling communications on behalf of an organization or publication. Supervisory experience required. Must be able to analyze complex ideas, internal and external stakeholders, and multiple sources of information to develop communications strategies and effective messaging and content. Must demonstrate skills in writing and editing press releases and news articles in AP style, feature stories, news writing, web content, presentations, internal messaging and strategic communications. Must have excellent people skills and ability to effectively deal with multiple contacts or stakeholders for projects. Must have the ability to work cross-functionally with supervisors, the Brand Management team and campus partners to ensure a collaborative environment, coordinated efforts and maximized outcomes. Must demonstrate flexibility in the work environment and exhibit strong attention to detail as well as the ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and priorities on deadline.
