  • Job Summary Responsible for business-to-business sales, marketing, and professional activities that support Purdue products (including its subsidiaries, Imbrium Therapeutics and Adlon Therapeutics) with assigned pharmacy and distribution supply channel customers including wholesalers, specialty distributors, retail pharmacy chains, independent pharmacy buying groups and specialty pharmacies. Primary Responsibilities All responsibilities listed below are to be performed in compliance with internal SOPs, policies, and the Purdue Voluntary Injunction (permanent injunction when applicable). Ensure optimal distribution of Purdue products throughout the channel. Negotiate effective contract agreements with key accounts by balancing revenue goals of customers with Purdue Account Net Revenue goals.  Craft and present compelling, strategic recommendations for Pricing Committee and Contract Review Committee approvals. For portfolio (excluding opioids), develop sales team execution plans for both the customer and Purdue. Create portfolio (excluding opioids) brand awareness programs and implement new product launch initiatives with organized customers (at both the headquarters and regional levels). Actively engage third party vendors for marketing initiatives, as permitted/appropriate/required. Build productive long-term customer relationships with external decision makers. Partner with all Purdue Colleagues: Field Sales Teams, Marketing, Pricing & Contracting, Medical Affairs, Law, Analytics, Customer Service, Finance and Ethics/Compliance, among others.  Analyze and interpret data pertinent to sales, inventory pipeline levels and returns. Implement and enforce all Purdue SOPs and policies to ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations. Implement and enforce SOPs and policies related to returns, buy-in, back orders, DPA service levels and order-to-cash compliance. Participate in supply chain initiatives with key accounts or professional associations. Implement new product introductions and special promotions including pull-through plans that achieve the wholesaler and pharmacy stocking goals set by Purdue management. Troubleshoot any product portfolio, demand management and supply challenges. Support production and return forecasting through inventory data. Partner with Law, IT, Finance and Manufacturing to fully comply with all existing and emerging requirements for our industry; i.e., DSCSA, State opioid taxes, among others. Ensure complete compliance with Purdue’s Voluntary Injunction and any subsequent voluntary and/or operating injunctions. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree (B.S., B.A) from a four-year accredited college or university required Minimum 10 years pharmaceutical or biotech account management experience required Previous Pharmacy and Distribution/ Account Management experience highly preferred 6 years of direct line team leadership   Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills Negotiation skills and proven experience with contract negotiations Proven ability to develop strong customer relationships and demonstrated results Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to develop/implement account specific business plans, strategies and tactics designed to maximize results Strategic focus and the ability to identify key trends, customer needs, competitor pressures, financial data, and market analytics to develop short and long- range account plans that align with business objectives Strong business acumen, organizational and leadership skills Ability to adapt, iterate and learn Travel required: ~ 25%   Supervisory Responsibilities (if Applicable) National Account Executives -Trade and Distribution
