Syracuse Stage, the professional theatre in residence at Syracuse University, is accep�ng applica�ons for
a Box Office Supervisor.
The Box Office Show Supervisor reports to the Box Office Managers and is responsible for supervising Box
Office staff during Syracuse Stage and SU Drama performances and handling customer transac�ons, both
in person and over the phone.
This is an hourly, part-�me posi�on that will work mainly during performances (nights and weekends). The
Box Office hours range from Monday-Sunday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., depending on show schedules. Work
schedule will vary but overall hours and boundaries align with work/life balance.
Ideal Candidate Skills and Educa�on
The ideal candidate will have superb aten�on to detail, excep�onal customer service, organiza�onal and
interpersonal skills, excellent �me-management skills, ability to mul�-task and work independently, a
sense of humor, and an interest in theater. Previous box office and/or customer service experience highly
preferred. Familiarity with PatronManager/Salesforce so�ware is desirable but not required.

Salary: $16.50/hour, employees are eligible for over�me.
Physical Demands & Working Condi�ons
Work is generally performed during working day hours and in sync with the theatrical performance
schedule. This posi�on requires extensive �me si�ng down and in front of a computer. Theatrical schedule
will require evenings and weekend work. Posi�on requires Employee will be subject to abide by all Covid
rules set forth by the State, University, and Actors Union.
