JOB SUMMARY
Supports numerous functions related to Isuzu Trade Shows and promotional events. Assists Trade Show Manager in the coordination of venues, schedules, logistics and other support functions.The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: planning trade show calendar, communicating with other staff members so that all details of events are handled properly, reviews contracts and registrations of venues, preparing booth for the event including ordering supplies and arranging necessary equipment. Collects various trade show data, analyzing and presenting data in a user-friendly, comprehensive manner, generating leads, and managing lead data in the CRM system. Responsible for pre-show announcements and post-show follow-ups such as emails, social media posts, and surveys to develop more engagement and brand awareness. Develops collateral materials (print and digital) and helps oversee interactive sales quoting tool. Attracts potential customers by answering product questions, connecting the Isuzu product to their industry, and researching new opportunities for customer engagement. Prepares analytical reports to summarize marketing incentive utilization, progress, and trends. Suggests changes to management team using analytics/data to support any recommendations. Researches competition to identify product, program, and warranty differences to advise and develop enhanced Isuzu programs. Aligns processes and department goals with overall strategy. Constructs forecasts based on industry trends and market changes. Strategic planning based on knowledge of business operations and procedures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assists Manager, Trade Show & Body Program on contracts and arranges trade show registrations and hotel accommodations. Ensures all necessary equipment and signage is ordered and delivered in a timely manner. Communicates with attendees on details related to location, time, and important information for each event.. Provides onsite organization and assistance to attendees when attending trade shows. Summarizes trade show findings and reports regularly to manager on progress of trade shows and budget status. Uses information gathered from various shows to highlight possible trends and opportunities for new business. Collaborates with marketing graphic designer to integrate Isuzu graphic look and feel on all promotional materials for these events.Serves as point-of-contact person for all questions or issues related to marketing trade show events such as credits or debits (including dealers, field personnel, and ICTA corporate staff). Writes collateral and website product copy and program guideline updates (PGUs) as needed. Continuously broadens knowledge of Isuzu products, competitors, and programs.
2. Creates reports using pivot tables to track debits and credits related to trade show events and ensures funds are spent appropriately and programs are on budget. Prepares budget tracking reports for trade shows and training workshops and provides input to department management on any budget variances. Works closely with the accounting department to ensure purchase order requests are submitted in the accounting system to be approved by upper management before processing credit(s) to dealers and vendors. Ensures that funds are utilized efficiently and stays within budget plans. Liaison between ICTA department(s) and Accounting to arrange payments to vendors and trade show venue contractors. Collects measurable data to assist management team in strategic marketing budget decisions. Performs daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current marketing incentive status using reports and trends.
3. Assists Manager, Trade Show & Body Program with organization, body upfits, body companies, shipping, and body program related issues. Runs monthly reporting on body program usage for upper management review. Assists manager with new vocations and body companies to upfit or partner with Isuzu. Oversees builds, manages payments, and arranges transportation as needed. Assists with tracking and managing corporate fleet of show trucks and helping sell them to dealers and end users. Develops strong working relationship with all departments to support cross-functional projects and represent the marketing department in all aspects of Isuzu business.
4. Organizes office operations and procedures in relations to trade shows and body programs. Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing marketing related tasks. Plans in-house or off-site activities and meetings and assists in marketing events as required.
5. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.

This is primarily a sedentary position in a controlled office environment, which requires only occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of office files, reports or records. Occasional instances requiring lifting objects (5 to 25 lbs.). Position requires some travel, minimum 35% time including overnight stays.
Pay scale for this position is between $68,742 and $85,927. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
