    Petredis Investment Advisors is an independent registered investment advisory (RIA) wealth management firm seeking to hire a Trader.

    The Trader will work with Petredis Investment Advisors’ financial advisors and client associates to execute client transactions across stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and other securities.

    Initially, the Trader will operate strictly within a framework defined by Petredis Investment Advisors’ investment team and will have very limited discretion when executing transactions. Our goal is for the Trader to earn more and more responsibility, discretion, and autonomy over time, leading to increases in compensation. Our ideal candidate wants to join a high-performing team for 10 – 20 years. Attention to detail is paramount in this role. When trading activities do not consume a full 40-hour work week, the Trader will execute non-trading functions like creating and updating eMoney client financial plans and various operational tasks.

    Job Responsibilities and Duties:

    · Review daily incoming deposit and outgoing withdrawal reports and transact to ensure client account cash levels are appropriate

    · Review client accounts to ensure investment allocations are aligned with client investment objectives (drift testing). Execute rebalancing transactions as appropriate

    · Maintain client target allocation database in Excel and Fusion software

    · Execute firm-wide and account-by-account transactions when investment team enacts changes to the firm’s investment strategy

    · Assist in preparing and executing large block trades of securities

    · Execute tax loss harvesting

    · Assist in various non-trading functions of the firm including eMoney client financial plans, client reports, compliance, operations, etc

    · Maintain professionalism, discretion and confidentiality in accordance with firm policy

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree

    · Series 65 or 66 registrations preferred but not required

    · Prior experience is preferred but not required. We will consider candidates with experience in finance, accounting, or other technical fields

    · Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

    · Strong attention to detail

    · Strong basic algebra, math, and logic skills

    · Strong soft skills including verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills

    · Strong Microsoft Windows & Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Advanced Excel speed and ability strongly preferred
