In this role, you will be focused on the planning, design, and management of various civil engineering projects including water/wastewater/stormwater and transportation projects for local and government agencies. Interaction with IDOT and understanding of project submittals will be required. - Manage, support and build relationships with clients and agencies
- Conduct field inspections, measurements or calculations
- Perform condition assessments
- Develop critical project objectives and performance goals, interacting with clients on technical matters as needed
- Prepare and develop construction, design documents and plans
- Manage projects and programs from inception to completion
Specific Requirements Desired:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a concentration in Transportation preferred
- 2 - 5 years of Civil Engineering experience
- FE/EIT Certification
- Experience with IDOT, MFT and local agency projects
- Experience or understanding of working with state and local authorities
- AutoCAD, Civil3D, GeoPak, SS4, MicroStation or OpenRoads experience
- Ability to work both in the office and field for construction engineering and observation
- Management, communication, and organization skills
