We are searching for a compassionate, full-time Activities Assistant to join our team!

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Activities Assistant :

• Implement programming in all levels of care and to follow our daily programming schedule.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating all resident activities including special events.
• Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees. This is a whole-person approach to health and wellness which includes eight dimensions of wellness : Emotional, Environmental, Health Services, Intellectual, Physical, Social, Spiritual and Vocational.
• The Community Life Services team works closely together to enrich the lives of our residents.

Here are a few qualifications we need you to have :

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities / life enrichment preferred.
• Excellent Interpersonal and Social Skills to work effectively with residents, patients, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, subordinates and other outside contacts.
• Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
