Traffic Clerk jobs in Monroe, LA
Traffic Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the traffic operations function of an organization. Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, logging, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders. Being a Traffic Clerk contacts transporters for freight pick-up and ensures that cargo is routed appropriately. Communicates changes to routing and timelines. Additionally, Traffic Clerk prepares and processes bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Traffic Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. - Updating payroll records; making changes to employee information

Requirements
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work closely with others in a team atmosphere
- At least one year of previous payroll or accounting related experience
