Traffic Clerk, Sr. provides administrative and clerical support to the traffic operations function of an organization. Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, logging, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders. Being a Traffic Clerk, Sr. contacts transporters for freight pick-up and ensures that cargo is routed appropriately. Communicates changes to routing and timelines. Additionally, Traffic Clerk, Sr. prepares and processes bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Traffic Clerk, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     Description

    Summary: Responsible for enhancing and improving the SRIM Management experience specifically in Artful Dining for residents, families and visitors. Demonstrates and promotes SRMMG’s core value of the Golden Rule. Treating others (residents, families, and associates) in the same manner you would like to be treated. Prepares and cooks a variety of food for residents, families and visitors. Oversees the work of other food service staff involved in the cooking process by performing the following duties.

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Prepares all food according to the established menu.*

    1. Insures proper preparation, portioning, and serving of food following standardized recipes.*

    1. Assumes responsibility for total kitchen operations and handles all situations in the kitchen according to established policy and procedures.*

    1. Always follows departmental procedures including sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules.*

    1. Cleans all food service equipment, kitchen, and food storage areas daily.*

    1. Prepares to give suggestions for menu or recipe changes that adhere to dietician guidelines to utilize surplus foods and other supplies.*

    1. Oversees proper food handling and utilization of all foods to prevent contamination, increase the quality and reduce the cost.*

    1. Ensures and supports a dignified and caring atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and associates.*

    1. Always responds promptly and courteously to resident's and family member request for assistance.*

    1. Communicates effectively in a language that each resident is capable of understanding.*

    1. Maintains a safe and secure working environment free of objects/situations that could cause harm and/or falls to residents, families, visitors, and associates.*

    1. Always practices good body mechanics and safe working habits.*

    1. Observes and reports safety hazards immediately to supervisor.*

    1. Knows, understands and follows established policy and procedures in emergency situations.*

    1. Works as a team player with other associates and management in accomplishing work assignments.*

    1. Always demonstrates a positive and respectful attitude about work issues, policies, and procedures.*

    1. Always demonstrates a positive and respectful attitude with residents, families, visitors, associates, and management.*

    1. Complies with attendance and call off policy.*

    1. Attends and/or participates in trainings, in-service and mandatory meetings.*

    1. Always wears clean and appropriate dress per established dress code policy.*

    1. Refrains from discussing resident care issues with families and visitors and refers all inquiries to immediate supervisor.*

    1. Knows, understands and complies with HIPAA regulations.*

    1. May assist with the training of new employees in dining services.

    1. Without asking, takes the initiative in work, seeks out additional information, and offers solutions/suggestions.

    1. Takes on special projects or assignments outside of regular duties.

    1. Coordinates the work of culinary assistants.

    1. Performs all other reasonable duties as assigned or as requested.

    Education/Experience:
