Traffic Manager develops and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency. Selects appropriate delivery methods to minimize delivery costs and maximize customer satisfaction. Being a Traffic Manager analyzes, handles, and reviews loss and damage claims caused by accidents. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Traffic Manager typically reports to a director. The Traffic Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Traffic Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience with H&H design and applicable software applications. Projects will include a variety of land development site designs and other responsibilities will include research, coordination, project management, cost estimating, allowances for land disturbance and preparation of bid packages as well as technical specifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Engineer in Training Certification (required)
- Knowledge of CADD Software (MicroStation/AutoCAD)
- Experience with detail site layout and grading; drainage and stormwater management design; utility design; and erosion and sediment control design
- Experience with HEC-RAS HEC-HMS HECGEO-RAS and other industry accepted software and development of studies
- Experience with NJDOT codes and regulations, interpreting plans, designing stormwater facilities, site grading and permitting for land development projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Driver’s License
