Traffic Manager develops and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency. Selects appropriate delivery methods to minimize delivery costs and maximize customer satisfaction. Being a Traffic Manager analyzes, handles, and reviews loss and damage claims caused by accidents. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Traffic Manager typically reports to a director. The Traffic Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Traffic and Infrastructure Division Manager

  • Position Overview:

    You’ll have the opportunity to guide the Division towards niche markets while supporting Hunt Electric’s other eight Divisions and offices. It will be a management-level position, responsible for all facets of the business and overseeing the Traffic and Infrastructure Division operations across multiple branches. Accountable for profit and losses, vision, and forecasting. The Division focus is on the installation of duct bank systems & all related subsystems in green-field and dense brown-field environments for private, State, & Federal clients. An understanding of light and heavy equipment, OSHA regulations, and State and Federal guidelines is a must.


    Major Duties:

    • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Traffic and Infrastructure Division, including setting goals, developing business plans, and implementing strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.
    • Manage all aspects of the division’s operations, including project management, resource allocations, scheduling, and quality control.
    • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of division personnel, ensuring a high-performing
      team.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities for expansion and innovation.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
    • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on division performance, including financial results, project status, and key metrics.
    • Collaborate with other departments within the organization to leverage resources and capabilities and drive overall company success.
    • Track monthly performance metrics.
    • Implement policies and procedures to drive excellence, quality, and integrity throughout the Division.
    • Monitor aged receivables and ensure timely collections.
    • Maintain accountability for safety and uphold high moral standards.
    • Focus the Divisions in technology transformation pointed towards the customer.
    • Available for travel as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related equivalent field experience.
    • Demonstrate experience in building and executing a business strategy.
    • Inspire trust, manage profit and loss, collaborate, execute strategy, mentor, and innovate.
    • Ten plus years of experience in the construction or industry or similar managerial role.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for building spreadsheets, graphs, and data points.
    • Strong understanding of soils, & trenches.
    • Proficient in estimating large projects (10 million plus).
    • Advanced knowledge of design, finance, and project management.
    • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and innovation.
    • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage and inspire teamwork.
    • Ability to adapt to new software and or technologies.


    Preferred Experience/Qualifications

    • Business Degree
    • 10 years as an acting manager
