Researches and analyzes freight costs and classifications, delivery methods, and delivery schedules to minimize delivery costs and maximize customer satisfaction. Being a Traffic/Rate Analyst may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Traffic/Rate Analyst work is closely managed. The objective of this position is to provide the planning, analysis and managing of resources to support emergency response activities with the Department of Health and Human Services/Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). Length of deployment is contingent upon response needs and funding.
