In support of the 81st Training Wing (TRW) and 403rd Wing at Keesler AFB MS, performs typical weather station operations including but not limited to taking/recording weather observations, issuing Terminal Aerodrome Forecasts (TAF), preparing and briefing DD Form 175-1, Mission Execution Forecast (MEF), and monitoring weather conditions and issuing weather watches, warnings, and advisories, as required.
Responsibilities
· Produces and disseminates all required surface weather observations to local customers, inputs them into the shared information database, and records them on applicable forms.
Qualifications
Operational experience using the Gibson/Ridge Doppler Radar program.
Position requires selected applicant be able to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance.
