Training Administrator is responsible for the coordination of employee and management training programs. Administers a recordkeeping system to track employee training participation and progress. Being a Training Administrator assists in other administrative and budgeting tasks associated with training programs. Coordinates and tracks participation in outside training activities. Additionally, Training Administrator may coordinate or administer skill or competency assessments, career counseling, outplacement, and other specialized training or development programs for employees. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Training Administrator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     1. Plan, organize, and conduct training programs and seminars for new and existing real estate agents and staff on real estate and business activities, company procedures, marketing services and technology applications.  (40-50%)
    2. Research material for new training programs; review and evaluate existing and proposed programs; recommend appropriate changes.  (30-40%)
    3. Attend staff and agent meetings to present and promote the company’s available technology. Act as a technical resource to agents and staff.  (15-20%)
    4. Confer with management to determine training needs. Create and write training manuals and materials using professional formatting and graphics. Compile, organize and distribute training materials. (10-15%)
    5. Attend and participate in new agent recruitment and existing agent retention activities. (5-10%)
    6. Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.  (0-10%)

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Associate’s degree in information technology, marketing, human resources or related field; or equivalent work experience.

    Experience:

    • Two plus years of training or customer service experience.
    • Experience with real estate industry technology programs preferred including technical and operation knowledge of MLS systems.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills. Ability to teach class and be a discussion leader.
    • Ability to create training manuals using professional formatting and graphics and high quality writing skills.
    • Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities with service orientation.
    • Desire to constantly learn new technology related skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
    • Team oriented skill set with emphasis on setting goals to achieve.
