The Ideal Candidate
It is crucial for the Pearl Street Arts Center Education Director to epitomize a commitment to providing the best instructional environment possible. The Education Director will oversee all education programs, direct day-to-day operations within the Music Academy, and strategically plan all ancillary events, including recitals, weekly classes, camps, and promotions. An ideal candidate must embrace their role as a leader, showcasing an infectious enthusiasm for employees to emulate.
As the sole full-time employee, the Director will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, and training all contracted Academy and education program employees and instructors. This position will function as the primary point of contact for customers and personnel. As such, the Education Director will be expected to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, all while maintaining composure, a positive outlook, and a focus on equitable solutions. An open-minded approach to novel and unconventional solutions is essential.
