Additionally, Training and Clinical Education Director typically requires a master's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Training and Clinical Education Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     The Director will join an established Community Health Center that has been providing top quality care in Nevada for the last 20 years. This 50 bed healthcare system recently received Joint Commission Accreditation and continues to rank in the top 10% of hospitals in the United States in Quality Patient Excellence. This Hospital specializes in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Delivery Land Maternal Care Services, and a full spectrum of Radiology/Imaging Services. 

    The Director of Plant Operations will report to the tenured Chief Executive Officer and work in collaboration with other healthcare leaders to maintain everyday operations of the hospital. This position encompasses oversight of three departments; Facilities Management, Safety and Disaster Management. The Director of Plant Operations will supervise facility maintenance managers and  plant operator leads. 

    Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines, advising on safety measures, conducting risk assessments and implementing preventative measures will fall to the Director of Plant Operations. Additional responsibilities will include inspecting the facility to identify safety, health and environmental risks while implementing inspection policies and procedures to address risks. 

    A candidate with strong acute care hospital leadership and experience with safety and disaster management will surely make for a quick interview for the Director of Plant Operations opening.
