Position Overview

This position will work as a Full-Time Front Office Assistant while we provide the materials for the employee to become a Certified Dental Assistant

Front Office: This person is responsible for performing daily clerical activities within the front office and designated areas related to maintaining smooth patient flow and enforcing PHN reimbursement related procedures as they apply to the front office.

Dental Assistant: assist in the provision of primary and comprehensive dental care as a member of a team of health professionals. This individual performs as a chair side assistant with dental duties (priority) with approval by the supervisor(s). This individual also performs limited clerical duties.

Location and Hours of Position

The general office hours for this position is Monday-Wednesday 7.45am-6.15pm, Thursday 7.45am-5.15pm. This position is located at our PHN Indiana Dental Office in Indiana, PA.

Education/Experience Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year professional office experience (preferred)
• Previous experience with Electronic Medical Records (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Computer/technological proficiency

Compensation

Starts at $16 per hour - previous medical/dental front office experience will be taken into consideration when pay is determined.
