May collaborate with educational institutions to provide additional or specialized training. Additionally, Training Center Manager may be responsible for supervising trainers and instructors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Training Center Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Every Dog Behavior and Training is a 5-year-old nonprofit dedicated to making dog training and behavior resources inclusive and accessible to the Austin community. Our certified trainers and behavior consultants offer group classes and private training throughout the area.
We’re not your typical training organization! Our mission is to make training accessible for all, offering financial assistance across our programs to ensure cost never prevents families from accessing the support they need. We host free webinars on a variety of topics, including a BIPOC Speaker Series to increase representation within the dog training industry. We also reserve free spots in our classes for shelter dogs and provide financial assistance for families who face barriers in accessing veterinary behaviorist support.

Job Description
We’re seeking a Supervisor to lead our team of dog trainers at our Community Center. The ideal candidate is a people-first leader, passionate about helping staff grow and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. This person will ensure every community member receives top-notch service and training, with a focus on making programs accessible to all, regardless of background or financial status.
The Supervisor will oversee all operations at our training facility—from scheduling classes and managing inventory to tracking budgets and creating strategies for inclusive outreach. Reporting to the Executive Director, they will lead with compassion, centering equity in all their practices to remove barriers for those seeking our services.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: $52,000 (Note: We do not negotiate salaries to ensure equity; our pay is based on market research and cost-of-living estimates.)
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week, including at least 1 weekend day and some evenings each week.
