Off The Leash Doggie Daycare is currently seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a full-time Training - Special Program Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for those who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of dogs and their owners!

All that you need is:

• Managerial experience, preferably in the animal care industry
• Previous animal care experience
• Strong leadership and customer service skills
• Strong positive reinforcement-based training skills
• Strong project management, follow-through, and organizational skills
• Computer skills
• Availability during weekends, holidays, or call-outs for escalated issues

Preferred:

• Training certificate
• Ability to be outside regardless of weather
• Ability to be physically active for 8 hours
• Ability to communicate about canine behavior using proper terminology
• Proficiency in our kennel software and the ability to use social media
• A positive, calm attitude

OUR TRAINING - SPECIAL PROGRAM MANAGER

You play a pivotal role in crafting and executing personalized plans for each dog in our care. Your responsibilities extend to overseeing the day-to-day operations of various programs, including Training, Petey's Pals, and behavior-challenged daycare dogs, among others. With a solid grasp of our daycare, training, and special programs, you evaluate dogs to match them with the most suitable program, effectively communicating options to parents and suggesting additional training add-ons when necessary.

Once enrolled, you work towards achieving or surpassing each dog's unique goals, providing updates to pet parents and internal departments. Collaborating closely with floor supervisors, weekend supervisors, and management, you ensure seamless integration across all aspects of the business. From setting clear goals and monthly schedules to tracking progress and communicating benchmarks, your dedication drives the success of our programs and the well-being of our furry attendees!
