    Job Description Summary: PayPal’s Risk Training Program is responsible for providing compliance and ethics training to PayPal’s officers, directors, employees and services provides. The Risk Training Progam helps PayPal mitigate the risk of non-compliance with regulatory obligations that apply to PayPal and reinforces PayPal’s Risk Culture of “doing the right thing” by reinforcing understanding, transparency, and accountability for Risk and Compliance across the Company. The Manager, Risk Program Training will be responsible for the Risk Training Program, including program enhamcents, coordination with stakeholders and oversight of execution. The right candidate is a self-motivated individual that is able to effectively work and communicate collaboratively / cross-functionally with multiple teams located in different geographies. The right candidate must have a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail and organization.

    Responsibilities:

    This role, reporting to the Sr. Director, Risk and Compliance Governance, will be responsible for:

    • Developing the Risk Program Training strategy and framework.
    • Ensuring the Risk Training Program meets global regulatory obligations and supports PayPal’s business strategy and culture.
    • Advising key partners in operationalizing and maintaining the Risk Program Training Framework.
    • Monitoring and overseeing Risk Training Program processes to ensure adherence to the Program Policy and Framework..
    • Updating and maintaining the Risk Program Training Policy and ensuring supporting program documentation is aligned with the program policy.
    • Overseeing course review, development and enhancement to, including ensuring appropriate Subject Matter Experts have reviewed, content is clear and concise, and training best practices are considered.
    • Driving new hire and annual training completion, including through stakeholder engagement, communication and reporting.
    • Supporting responses to regulatory and audit requests related to the Risk Training Program.
    • Managing Risk Program Training budget.
    • Actively developing relationships and working collaboratively with cross functional groups.
    • Acting as a point of contact for teams across PayPal to assist in resolution of training issues, waiver requests and program exceptions.
    • Establishing and maintaining a framework to evaluate the effectiveness of current trainings and employee performance/user experience.

    Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

    • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience. Some barriers to entry exist at this level, requiring department review.
    • At least three years of legal, governance, risk or business experience required.
    • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work across multiple lines of business leading complex project management initiatives with high attention to detail and accuracy; while multitasking and meeting deadlines despite competing priorities.
    • Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship-building and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently, self-starter and highly motivated to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
    • Ability to credibly challenge solutions and ensure that timely escalation of issues and concerns occurs as and when appropriate.
    • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
    • Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and exhibit agility in navigating from current state to proposed solutions.
