The Office of Development is seeking a Fundraiser Training Specialist to continuously elevate onboarding, training, and professional development for fundraisers. Working with Associate Vice Presidents and Senior Directors, the incumbent will focus on developing field fundraisers.
The Fundraiser Training Specialist will be embedded in the culture, workplace, and network of fundraisers to deliver customized initiatives through relational collaboration, trusted consultation, and programmatic excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop partnerships within Regional Development to understand needs and proactively curate solutions.

• Develop and execute a strategic curriculum for the onboarding, training, and professional development of fundraisers. This includes overseeing established programs (onboarding, BATPA 101, BATPA 201, BATPA 301, mentoring) and creating new learning initiatives, programs, and resources.

• 
  Create mechanisms for feedback, evaluation, and benchmarking to continually improve learning initiatives.

• Partner with Associate Vice President to foster leadership development for both Regional Directors and Senior Regional Directors.
• Extend learning opportunities to Development colleagues who partner with field fundraisers.

• Serve as a collaborative member of the Learning and Organizational Development (LOD) team in University Relations. Continually learn, network, and grow. Leverage campus-wide learning initiatives to benefit fundraisers. Enjoy hybrid work and a flexible schedule with limited travel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• 5 years of professional experience
• Proven ability to set goals and meet them.
• Independent, autonomous, organized, proactive work ethic.
• Ability to synthesize work-flow from multiple stakeholders.
• Posture of collaboration and giving/receiving feedback.
• Aptitude to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels, and with internal/external partners.
• Innovative, creative, and pragmatic approach to building and delivering learning and training programs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Success in high-impact fundraising
• Track record of catalyzing employee development and/or adult learning.
