OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for English into Simplified Chinese Patent translator, who have strong experience of patent content.

This is an on-going freelance and remote position.

Project Details

Job Title: English into Chinese Patent Translator

Location: Remote

Expected Volume:  5000 words per week

Start date: ASAP

Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contract

Task type: Translation, Copy Edit (proofreading)

Content types: "Computer Science","Electricity"

CAT Tool: XTM

• Translate and edit content from English into Simplified Chinese with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience.  
• Working with "XTM", Welocalize will provide the credentials without any cost.

• At least 5-years' experience in Chinese patent-translation
• Formal higher education in Translation (preferably at Masters level), or formal higher education in IT, Electricity, Computer Science fields.
• Good at using CAT Tools, such as XTM, Trados etc.
• Good communication skill.
