Being a Transmitter Engineer has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Transmitter Engineer works under immediate supervision. Duties/Responsibilities: Prepare design calculations, reports and spreadsheets in accordance to applicable contract documentsPerform analysis related to stripping and rigging of precast concrete membersPerform structural engineering design for steel hangers and frames for erecting and handling precast concrete membersConduct Finite Element Analysis on precast concrete wall panelsDesign and analyze connections and anchoring both for handling and erecting precast wall panelsWork with a multi-discipline team to ensure a coordinated design packageProvide structural engineering support to sales and estimating as needed including reviewing drawings, preliminary design and technical support on sales callsProvide engineering support to quality control and erection processesPerform structural modeling using software Required Skills/Abilities: PE licensePre-stressed concrete designFEM, RISA 3DRevitMathCad Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or any Engineering field of study Benefits: Compensation is commensurated with education and experience.
