Position Summary
Under direct supervision of the Facilities Director, oversees the inventory and maintenance of the warehouses Warehouse/Transportation personnel, and transportation related functions. This position will manage logistics related processes, inbound/outbound U.S. Postal Service mail, personnel, and the equipment/vehicles associated with obtaining, producing, and distributing material and product. This includes the development of weekly driver schedules; on site/off site trips and other support activities as necessary to support guest services and intra-property material movements between Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise (TOGE).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with all State, Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) of the Tohono O’odham Gaming Office (TOGO).
- Ensures inventory accuracy by directing regular, complete and accurate cycle counting within facility.
- Ensures vehicles are roadworthy and safe.

- Ensures all warehouses are kept in a clean, neat and orderly manner.
- Ensures the warehouse team members are scheduled to meet the demands of the facility.
- Responsible for protection of Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise stored assets.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures for the warehouse and transportation operations.
- Develops metrics for tracking performance and work within the department.
- Supervises and directs subordinates in the performance of their duties.
- Supervises the daily activities of the warehouses.
- Supervises the shipping/receiving of all material in accordance with approved procedures.
- Supervises the accounting for U.S. Postal Service inbound/outbound mail.
- Researches & resolves inventory discrepancies.
- Conducts technical training for subordinates.
- Oversees the recruitment, selection, and termination of team members.
- Oversees the maintenance of appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
- Improves staff effectiveness by coaching, counseling and training of team members.
- Contributes to departmental effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues and goals, providing requested information, recommending options and courses of actions, and implementing directives.
- Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
- Coordinates with Hotel Guests and TIA services and TIA use fees.
- Evaluates subordinates’ performance and conducts performance evaluations.
- Requisitions supplies and equipment, as needed.
- Emphasizes safety and oversees procedures for emergency response to unsafe conditions.
- Prepares budgets and monitors expenditures.
- Schedules transportation drivers to meet the needs of the TOGE and in support of Guest Service and material movements between TOGE property locations.
- Works closely and provide recommendations to supervisor regarding budgets and recommendations for new vehicles.
- Tracks annual physical/medical evaluation for licensed CDL vehicle operators.
- Maintains good communication with team members and maintains a positive and professional work environment.
- Performs other duties as required.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a related field plus 5 years’ experience in warehouse and transportation management. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable (for driving); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen; background investigation & obtain and maintain a gaming license and to include the following:
Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, And Certifications
- Knowledge of material and personnel transportation services.
- Knowledge of general warehouse practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of supervisory techniques.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards, safe working practices, and safety precautions in accordance with applicable state, county, or federal laws and regulations as they pertain to warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of SCM software relating to procedural and system transactions, reconciliations, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
- Knowledge of logistics’ processes associated with obtaining, producing, and distributing material and product.
- Knowledge of inbound/outbound U.S. Postal Service processes and commercial postage metering systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with personnel and the general public.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the executive managers.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationship with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds and team members at all levels.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the team member regularly is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand; and walk. The team member occasionally is required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
Work is generally performed in a warehouse and casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level. As well as, outdoors at warehouse/maintenance sites. Tight time constraints and multiple demands are common. Evening graveyard, holiday and/or weekend work may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
