To be a successful Transportation Manager you must become able to do the following always:

1. Ensure a trauma informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery.
2. Responsible for oversight of company fleet.  Ensure updated maintenance and upkeep. 
3. Lead activities and supervise the Transportation Scheduler and Drivers. 
4. Ensure staff receive all required driver’s safety training and other training requirements. 
5. Work with company leadership on fleet needs.
6. Provide backup for the Transportation Scheduler.
7. Provide direct supervision and support of supervisees utilizing the Company model for supervision, Supervision for Success.
8. Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.
