Community Connections Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated Transportation Director to join our team based in Fall River, MA. This role offers a Monday - Friday schedule with no evening or night shifts, weekends, or on-call responsibilities. As the Transportation Director, you will be instrumental in overseeing and managing all facets of transportation operations, ensuring a seamless delivery of services in compliance with vendor and funder requirements. We are looking for a Transportation Director with a commitment to advocacy, serving the community and supporting others towards independence.?

What You'll Do as the Transportation Director:

• Ensure and safeguard C.C.I. consumer's human dignity and rights and liberties.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise Transportation Managers and drivers
• Manage relationships with contractors, including timely and accurate billing
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure coordination of transportation activities
• Maintain an accurate inventory of vehicles and oversee the transportation budget
• Procure vehicles, manage vendor relationships, and stay updated on transportation technology
• Ensure that management responsibilities continue in the absence of a manager.
• Support the Manager’s handling of employee issues in collaboration with Human Resources.? 
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and maintain high-quality services through data analysis
• Contribute to the long-term goals of the organization as a member of the Leadership

What You'll Need as the Transportation Director:

• At least five years of experience in transportation management.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license, access to a motor vehicle, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and apply commonsense understanding to draw valid conclusions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member.
• Strong computer and word processing skills.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug/alcohol screening
