The Transportation Driver will be responsible for providing reliable transportation to students, visitors, staff and parents with safety and excellent guest service skills as top priorities.

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and excellent guest service.

• Must be willing / able to obtain certification in CPR and First Aid if required by IMG.
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
• Other duties as assigned
• Operate all vehicles in a safe manner
• Excellent customer service skills
• Heavy interaction with students, guest and visitors
• Serves as a positive role model while providing transportation services
• Following up on company policies in regards to discipline, & vehicle safety and handling emergency situations.
• Complete routine paperwork such as Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Ability to use equipment such as cell phones, 2-way radios and GPS devices
• Maintain current license
• Keep vehicle clean as needed, including interior / exterior cleaning and vacuuming
• Flexibility to operate vans and trams as directed and operations dictate
• Must be flexible to operate any vehicle, clean vehicles and perform other tasks as the needs of the Transportation department require.
• During down times, and as directed by management, will perform other tasks such as cleaning vehicles, performing related errands, light office work and assisting with tasks in other departments outside of Transportation.
• Report to work daily in company uniform

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

• Ability to drive a variety of vehicles including vans and trams
• Ability to read and interpret road signs in English
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with all students, parents, guests and staff.
• Ability to prepare concise records and reports
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to interface with a variety of audiences
• Ability to multi task in a fast-paced organization
• A superior work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

Bilingual (English / Spanish)

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
• Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required

This role is considered essential and may be required to work during weather emergencies or business closures in order to meet operational requirements
