The Transportation Engineer will be responsible for transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway/bridge design, and construction management.
The Transportation Engineer must hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.

Job Details
Responsibilities:- Planning, designing, and managing transportation engineering projects.
- Performing detailed design work using CADD for the creation of plans, specifications, and estimates related to roadway design.
- Conducting feasibility studies to evaluate the potential impact of proposed transportation projects.
- Developing and implementing traffic management systems to improve the efficiency of transportation networks.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation engineering.
- Preparing technical reports and presenting findings to stakeholders and clients.
- Providing technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in transportation engineering and incorporating them into your work.
Qualifications:- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer In Training (EIT) certification is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CADD and other engineering software.
- Solid understanding of transportation engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
