The Virginia Department of the Treasury is dedicated to serving the Commonwealth by providing excellent management of its banking, investing, and financing services and the administration of unclaimed property and insurance programs.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who either through experience, education, or self-taught methods, has a strong grasp using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will help create applications from scratch as well as configure existing systems and provide user support. The Programmer Analyst duties include but are not limited to designing, developing system applications, modifying existing agency applications, responding to help desk and system requests for system issues, communicating with various customers and vendors to resolve issues, creating and maintaining documentation, and ensuring all procedures and processes are being followed within the unit.
In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. You should be a team player and good communicator. If you are also passionate about the .NET framework and software design/architecture, we’d like to meet you.
