Treasury Management Specialist

Role: Responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with commercial/ business members. Offering enhanced treasury products and services to meet the needs of larger business relationships and growing business relationships. They will work closely with management to grow commercial membership and sell our treasury offerings to meet the needs of our members.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

25% - Develop relationships with business members and prospects. Present/sell Treasury Solutions to meet the needs of their business.

25% - Develop and deliver presentations to new and prospective members. As well as, providing sales and service support to business members, leveraging and mobilizing resources as appropriate.

15% - Accompany lending team on calls to educate business members and build rapport and gather information to assist in implementation and onboarding the business member/ prospects.

10% - Complete documentation an onboarding process for new services and for changes for existing services.

10% - Organize and plan training on Treasury Products for both internal team and business members.

10% - Meet deadlines and exceed member expectations. Swiftly resolve member challenges that arise regarding business/ treasury products.

5% - Performs other duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

1. To meet established expectations of ELGA's Core Factors including but not limited to Accountability, Attitude, Communication, Competence, Continuous Improvement & Innovation and Relationship Building.
2. Work independently and directly with commercial lending and customer facing branch teams to develop relationships with goal of acquiring new treasury management relationships with existing members and assisting in acquiring new relationships to grow our organization.
3. Provide sales and technical support to members and internal team through specialization and product knowledge.
4. Perform the new account opening process for Treasury Management products. Profiling member for TM products as well as other solutions available to cross-sell internally and deepen relationships.
5. Perform routine maintenance on accounts as needed.
6. Educate members on the benefits of treasury products and support with use of TM products. Lead education, rollout of new treasury products to internal team through online and virtual presentations as needed.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Familiarity with Treasury Management Products.

Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. Ability to develop internal and external relationships and deliver on our commitment to exceptional member experience.

Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs.
Exceptional time management skills, organizational and planning skills with ability to plan and multitask when necessary.

Physical Requirements: Must provide own transportation and be able to travel as necessary within our footprint. Less than 20% travel required.

Work Environment: Work is primarily conducted in the office with flexibility for occasional remote work. Travel to business members sites within footprint.
