Treasury Director manages and oversees all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Oversees cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Director reviews and approves cash allocation reports, investment records, and expense and earnings forecasts. Develops department policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, Treasury Director ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Treasury Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Treasury Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Detailed Description:
    Prepare month-end close journal entries for treasury-related transactions across the enterprise particularly for investment transactions, investment management fees, bank fees, treasury vendor payments and funds transfers initiated by Treasury
    * Prepare detailed month-end reports for investment income and bank fees, and reconcile to summary figures reported by accounting during monthly close meetings
    * Support the preparation of Investment Reports for the Investment Committee and Finance Committee
    * Ensure timely processing payment of all Treasury related bills including: collecting and processing all treasury-related invoices from banks, investment managers, and other outside vendors, and ensuring payment by the appropriate AP department
    * Prepare monthly reconciliations for investment balances, income, and other investment transactions between Aladdin database, Oracle GL, and bank statements
    * Draft and maintain treasury business processes in the areas of investment management and treasury accounting
    * Support internal and external audits
    * Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures
    * Coordinate with other treasury staff and outside resources to provide meaningful, fact-based analysis and reports to drive efficient and effective decision-making
    * Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in investment accounting performing month-end close
    • Strong knowledge in fixed-income securities, investments in general, and performance analysis
    • Experience working with investment accounting technology platforms especially Blackrock Aladdin
    • Experience working with Oracle platform
    • Strong communication skills including effective written, oral and presentation
    • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to effectively convey information to various levels within the Enterprise, as well as third parties
    • Ability to solve problems creatively, offering alternative solutions as appropriate
    • Strong time and resource management abilities
    • Knowledge of health care industry issues preferred
    Required Skills:
    Investment accounting, investment accounting technology platforms (Blackrock Aladdin, Clearwater, etc), Oracle financials platform
    Certification Requirements: Certified Treasury Professional is preferred
