The Treasury Operations Manager performs treasury activities related to cash flow, borrowings, debt, and capital management. Manages day-to-day activities in treasury functions to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Allocates cash balances, maintains investment records, and prepares expense and earning forecasts.   • Reporting to the Site Director, this position will lead one of two Value Streams in our manufacturing operations to meet and exceed customer expectations in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness while playing a pivotal role in the overall profitability of the site. As the Operations Manager, you will provide strategic leadership, proficient management, and technical expertise to our organization, ensuring operational excellence and financial success. This position will be working exclusively with our largest OEM and have dotted line responsibility with the Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality functions. You will lead a team of approximately 60 associates with varied schedules.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Strategic Leadership: Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of the Focus Factory's strategy, aligning it with the overarching Site strategy to drive sustainable growth and operational success.
    2. Operational Excellence: Assume end-to-end responsibility for the Focus Factory's operations, maintaining a keen focus on achieving exceptional quality, service, cost, and responsiveness metrics.
    3. Effective Communication: Establish robust communication channels to ensure alignment among all team members across various organizational levels, promoting a cohesive and collaborative work environment.
    4. Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for sustaining business matters with customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Guarantee the fulfillment of customer performance metrics, including quality, service, cost, and responsiveness, in line with commitments made.
    5. Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional managers or leaders (Production, Quality, Engineering, Human Resources, Supply Chain, etc.) to drive successful execution of inter-departmental initiatives and common objectives, fostering a unified "one-team" culture.
    6. Performance Monitoring and Development: Facilitate consistent one-on-one discussions for all associates under direct supervision, ensuring the documentation of objectives, creation of individual development plans, and adherence to performance review timelines. Offer constructive performance feedback to managers overseeing associates who have a dotted-line reporting relationship with the FF Manager.
    7. Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of factory operations, comprehending the impact of decisions on financial performance. Develop, review, and maintain budgets and expenses, ensuring alignment with the plan and Site strategy.
    8. Cost Efficiency and Process Improvement: Monitor and control costs while championing cost-saving initiatives. Research and recommend future processes, systems, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
    Other Duties
    • New Product Launch: Collaborate closely with New Product Introduction and Program Management teams to ensure successful new product launches and ramp-ups.
    • Capacity Planning: Lead regular capacity analysis to proactively plan for capital investments or expenditures, ensuring the factory is well-prepared for future demands.
    • Corrective Action Management: Oversee Corrective Actions, ensuring the effectiveness of measures taken to prevent recurrence of issues.
    • Gemba Walks and Floor Presence: Promote a disciplined approach to Gemba walks and maintain a visible presence on the factory floor.
    • Inventory and Cash Flow Support: Provide support in managing inventory levels and optimizing cash flow against forecasts.
    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
    Education/Knowledge
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field including eight years of manufacturing related leadership experience; or equivalent.
    • Possesses high degree of knowledge in operations, quality, compliance, supply chain, finance and people management.
    Skills/Competencies
    • Leadership skills to lead and manage operations toward long-term departmental and organizational strategy.
    • Employee relationship and management skills to support, develop, and lead a successful team.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills to work with internal and external contacts at all levels within and outside the organization, represent the company in a professional manner and to sell concepts to customers.
    • Proven financial knowledge.
    • Proven problem solving skills.
    • Proven pro-activeness around communication and continuous improvement of the operation.
    • High ability to manage multiple major tasks at a time.
    Physical Requirements
    • Light work: Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
    • Must be able and willing to wear personal protective equipment as required including:
    • Protective eyewear
    • Protective gowning (i.e: Hairnet, Safety Shoes covers, Gown/Apron, Safety Glasses, gloves)
