Truck Driver Supervisor jobs in Benton Harbor, MI
Truck Driver Supervisor supervises the dispatching of trucks to convey freight to assigned destinations in a timely and efficient manner. Tracks deliveries via computer systems and monitors communication lines to assist with complex or immediate questions. Being a Truck Driver Supervisor reviews driver assignments, delivery time, and other transportation data to evaluate driver performance. Ensures dispatchers and drivers are educated and compliant with all DOT, state, local, and company regulations. Additionally, Truck Driver Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Requirements
- The Spark Driver app is available on both iOS and Android mobile devices. We recommend using iOS 11 and newer or Android 5.0 and newer. Additionally, all devices should have a camera with GPS.
- You must be 18 years of age or older to complete deliveries on the Spark Driver platform.
- A clean, smoke-free vehicle
- Valid proof of auto insurance
- Valid driver's license
- Be authorized to perform services as an independent contractor in the U.S.
