Truck Driver Supervisor jobs in Great Falls, MT

Truck Driver Supervisor supervises the dispatching of trucks to convey freight to assigned destinations in a timely and efficient manner. Tracks deliveries via computer systems and monitors communication lines to assist with complex or immediate questions. Being a Truck Driver Supervisor reviews driver assignments, delivery time, and other transportation data to evaluate driver performance. Ensures dispatchers and drivers are educated and compliant with all DOT, state, local, and company regulations. Additionally, Truck Driver Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor.     • Be 21 years or older to be a driver; movers must be 18 years or older
    • Possess a valid driver’s license to be a driver
    • Have the ability to lift/carry 100 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
    • Be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
    What You’ll Do
    Your #1 goal will be providing a positive moving experience for our customers. Movers and drivers safely load and unload customers’ belongings, and maintain an open line of communication with one another and the customer throughout the move. Our drivers also:
    • Act as the team leader for your moving team and execute a game plan for the move
    • Safely drive and maneuver a 16’ or 26’ moving truck
    • Complete daily truck inspections and equipment inventory
    • Comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations
    • Complete the move paperwork and customer payment
    Experience in general labor, landscaping, transportation, construction, production, manufacturing, factory, assembly or warehouse helpful but not required.
