Truck Driver - Tractor Trailer operates a large or heavy truck that transports cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule. Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations. Being a Truck Driver - Tractor Trailer conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition. Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods. Additionally, Truck Driver - Tractor Trailer coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured. Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class A. May require a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC). Typically reports to a supervisor. The Truck Driver - Tractor Trailer independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a company truck locally and will be home daily. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and experience in the waste industry. We are looking for someone who has experience with walking floor trailers, however we are willing to train the right person.

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., tanker, hazmat)
- Proven experience as a tractor-trailer driver or similar role.
- Ability to safely operate various types of trucks and equipment (e.g., forklifts, flatbeds) and has experience in heavy hauling.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Basic automotive repair skills for minor maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo.
Location of job is North Andover, MA or in Assonet, MA.
