Trust Administration Assistant supports Trust Estate Officers in servicing accounts and responding to customer requests. Processes sales and purchases of securities and other investment related transactions. Being a Trust Administration Assistant tracks confirmations, audits transactions according to policy. Researches and resolves any issues. Additionally, Trust Administration Assistant may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Trust Administration Assistant works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     Aquinas College, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Business Administration beginning in Fall 2024. 

     

    This is a tenure-track position that will be responsible for teaching a broad range of various management and marketing related business courses. Experience in International Business and teaching graduate courses is a plus. 

     

    The Aquinas community offers a collegial atmosphere and encourages various forms of scholarly productivity. Candidates are required to serve in an academic advising role, and may be asked to participate in other related duties as directed by the department chair.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    ·       Contractual Instructional load is 24-credit hours per academic year (3/3)

    ·       Provide service to the department, college and community commensurate with rank and college accreditation requirements.

    ·       Engage in research and professional activities commensurate with rank and college accreditation requirements.

    ·       Engage with department student initiatives, clubs, and events.

    Qualifications:

    ·       Ph.D, M.B.A., M.M. or related Master’s degree in a business discipline 

    ·       18 Graduate Credits in Management or Marketing; ideally 18-cr in each discipline

    ·       Teaching experience and demonstrated teaching effectiveness: in-person, hybrid, online.

    ·       Relevant industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility.

    ·       Ideal candidate will possess corporate, managerial and executive experience  

    ·       The ability to engage with the local business community and build relationships.

    ·       An active research record with interest, ability and potential to successfully enhance an applied research portfolio.
