Alteryx Server Administrator (Remote) | Washington, DC

(Must have ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance).

This position is expected to be generally remote with rare customer visits in Washington, DC metropolitan area, as needed. Candidates should intend to live in the Washington, DC metro area.

Salary: $150,000 to $170,000

Purpose:

The Alteryx Server Administrator supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Information and Technology Services (AIT) Enterprise Data Center (Enterprise Information Management Tools and Platform).

Automation to centralize reporting and insight:

Working directly with the FAA fleet team, eSolytics (a Strategic Innovation Group Company) began by looking at the logic flow of data through its multiple systems and formats.

Using Alteryx, our team was able to integrate the multiple datasets and join them into a dashboard. The flexibility of Alteryx enabled the FAA to shift from a push model to a pull model where the new process would only have to pull information from the GSA fleet application when there were updates.

Direction and Decision Making:

The candidate will be reporting to SIG's VP of Technology Partnerships and work directly with the FAA client.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supporting in creating and scheduling workflows on the server

• Scheduling and performing maintenance of Alteryx Server

• Reviewing and enforcing FAA usage policies

• Troubleshooting issues

• Load balancing workspace on server to ensure high performance

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 15 years relevant experience
• Experience creating new Tableau sites and scheduling and performing maintenance on the Alteryx Server.
• Government contracting experience is preferred.
• Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
• Open collaborative style; ability to work in a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision or direction.
