As a Commercial Financial Consultant/Financial Advisor at Rockland Trust, you utilize your comprehensive understanding of the financial landscape to guide individuals and businesses towards success. Each day, you work closely with individual, families and organizations to understand their investment, risk management and financial planning needs to develop holistic financial solutions that put them on the path to a secure financial future.

With a creative and dynamic personality and a passion for wealth management, you focus your time developing, building, and implementing engaging and impactful sales and marketing programs designed to build Rockland Trust's Investment Management Group (IMG) brand and grow assets under management (AUM). You are the first introduction to Investment Management Group for prospects and will ultimately introduce them to the full team beginning with a portfolio manager and relationship manager.

What You'll Do

• Utilize your familiarity with high potential markets (including high net worth individuals, nonprofit organizations, corporate retirement plans and business owners) to develop new investment management business.
• Provide wealth planning and investment expertise, strategies, and advice, using your familiarity with a full range of investment services, including wealth management, retirement plans, and not-for-profit institutions.
• Build the trust and confidence required to foster meaningful relationships with clients and center of influence to create a successful referral network.
• Maintain financial and investment relationships with High Net Worth individuals, while appropriately managing client assets and accounts.
• Design, implement, and deliver multi-facetted sales and marketing programs to internal and external centers of influence.
• Assimilate and integrate sales and marketing efforts across the organization and throughout the geography.
• Cultivate relationships with accountants, attorneys, and other centers of influence to further expand your network and enhance business opportunities.
• Collaborate and partner with commercial lenders, business bankers, and other internal departments to offer comprehensive financial solutions to clients.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of successful sales and marketing experience.
• Established networks within the Somerset, Providence, and Worcester areas
• Strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Personal initiative and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience in Wealth Management desirable MBA or CFP desirable.
